gothenburg Cyanotype workshop

Join Lily Ray and Gabriella Sörensson (Petitflorist) for an exciting day of cyanotype creation, Ikebana-inspired flower arranging and fika in the heart of Gothenburg!

Participants will make a number of cyanotype prints each over the course of the day, gaining a deep understanding of the craft and its many possibilities.

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces blue prints using coated paper or fabric and light. The process is simple, safe and satisfying and requires no prior knowledge or skills.

There are a number of pauses during the process during which a delicious fika will be served and Petitflorist will give participants an introductory course in flower arranging using a pin holder (also known as a pin frog).

What’s included?

  • We provide all materials including paper, chemicals, gloves, brushes and washing basins as well as a variety of pressed flowers, lace, glass ornaments, feathers, lettering and transparencies you can use to make your prints. You are more than welcome to bring your own materials!
  • Participants will take home a goody bag complete with cyanotype kit (chemicals, paper and brush), a floral pin holder, and some other little surprises!
  • And, of course, your cyanotype and floral creations will follow you home!
