Intimate Gothenburg Courthouse Wedding // Linnea and Tobias
On the seventh of October, I had the honour and privilege of photographing my first Gothenburg courthouse wedding. My beautiful former colleague and her now husband eloped in secret to be married at the famous functionalist townhall in Central Gothenburg with no witnesses other than the courthouse staff and myself. The ceremony was short but intimate and we took some portraits afterwards in the beautiful building.
After portaits inside and outside the courthouse, we went on to Kronhuset, Gothenburg’s oldest building – completed in 1654, where I have access to the attics through membership to Bagih, a coworking group who work in Kronhuset.
The attics are incredibly photogenic, with beautiful, soft light streaming through the huge windows and original timber beams and walls offering the perfect environment for portraits.
A lovely few hours with wonderful people, this is a session I’ll always look back on fondly.
